Job Description:

Position / Specialty: Echo Tech
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Sunday - Thursday
Daily Caseload per Tech: The department scans 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes per day
Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience
Weekend Requirement: Yes, as needed for the department
On-call Requirement: Possible occasional call
Floating Requirement: May float within the facility as needed
Block Schedule: Yes, available Sunday - Thursday
Pending State License: Accepted
Requested Time Off (RTO) Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Special Requirements:

• Certifications/Licenses:
  • Required: BLS, RDCS - Adults
  • Preferred: RDCS-Peds
• Work Setting Experience Required: Inpatient and ER
• Work Setting Experience Preferred: Outpatient, Teaching Hospital, PICU, Neonate, NICU
• General Skills Experience:
  • Required: Portables, Syngo
  • Preferred: IV Starts, PACS, Biopsies
• Echo Procedure Experience Required: 3/D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharm Stress Echos, RIT/RVOT, TEE, Treadmill Stress Echos
• Equipment/Scanner Experience Preferred: Siemens, Phillips
