Assignment Duration: 26 weeks
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Job Summary: The Technician - Medical / Surgical will support the HT5 Women’s Health and Pediatric Practice department at NYP Weill Cornell Medical Center. The role involves assisting medical staff with patient care in a pediatric setting, performing phlebotomy, and supporting various medical and surgical tasks.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist medical staff with patient care in the Women's Health and Pediatric Practice department.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures.
• Support various medical and surgical tasks as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and patient records are maintained.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical area.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous Medical Assistant (MA) experience.
• Experience in phlebotomy.
• Preferably has experience in pediatrics.

Dress Code:

• Blue scrubs.
