Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Registered Nurse (ARN) to join our ambulatory care team. The ARN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting, collaborating with healthcare providers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional care in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient assessments, including medical history, vital signs, and chief complaints.
  • Assist in the coordination of patient care, including scheduling appointments, diagnostic tests, and consultations.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication administration policies.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on healthcare conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
  • Perform procedures within the scope of nursing practice, such as wound care, medication injections, and specimen collection.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate and facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Stay updated on current healthcare practices, trends, and advancements in ambulatory care nursing.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [Insert state].
