Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Medical Coder responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning accurate diagnostic and procedural codes. This role ensures compliance with coding guidelines and supports billing, reporting, and regulatory requirements in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and modifier codes for outpatient encounters
Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to ensure accurate data capture
Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines, policies, and regulatory standards
Communicate with providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding queries
Maintain adherence to ethical coding standards
Support organizational quality and productivity goals
Assist in mentoring and training junior coding staff as needed
Participate in ongoing education and professional development

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Associate Degree in a medical field (preferred)
Certifications (Any One Required):
CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)
CMC (Certified Medical Coder)
CCA (Certified Coding Associate)
Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years of outpatient coding experience (E/M required)
Neurosurgery or Neurology coding experience preferred
HCC coding experience preferred (6+ months)
Strong knowledge of coding systems and reimbursement methodologies
Experience with Epic (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Position Summary
Utilize high-frequency sound waves to produce diagnostic ultrasound images and related data to assist physicians in medical diagnosis. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a wide range of general ultrasound procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and set up ultrasound equipment and ensure readiness for patient examinations
Select appropriate transducers (type and frequency) based on examination requirements

Maintain compliance with departmental policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
Current ARDMS certification required
Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN (ARDMS) required
Current BLS certification required
Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Ability to maintain active and current certifications and credentials
