Room patients, take vitals, and conduct EKGs
Draw blood & perform point-of-care (POC) testing

What We’re Looking For:
1+ year of Medical Assistant experience (beyond externship)
Phlebotomy & EMR experience required
Medical Assistant certification preferred

Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant provides comprehensive front and back-office support to ensure smooth daily operations. This position involves greeting and rooming patients, taking vitals, performing blood draws, administering vaccines, assisting with procedures, answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR system. A collaborative, patient-focused approach is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Greet, room, and prepare patients for exams.
Record vital signs and medical history.
Perform phlebotomy and administer vaccines.
Conduct EKGs and POC (Point-of-Care) testing.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Maintain accurate and timely EMR entries.
Support both clinical and administrative functions as needed.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (beyond externship).
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Must have current BLS or CPR certification.
