Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

Location: Springer, New Mexico
Shift: Day Shift (12-hour shifts, variable schedule)
Hours: 36–40 hours per week
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Pay: $20-$24/Hourly [Local] / From $930/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) team. The CNA will provide direct patient care to residents, assisting with daily living activities while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Support infection control and safety protocols
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Requirements

• Active CNA certification in the state of New Mexico (or compact eligibility if applicable)
• Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or nursing home setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with a flexible schedule
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
