Job Title: Registered Nurse – CVICU (Night Shift)
Location: Cincinnati, OH 
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Night Shifts + Every Other Weekend
Pay Rate: $40 – $45.50/hr (based on experience)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality critical care in a CVICU setting. The RN will deliver patient- and family-centered care using evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Care is delivered in alignment with ANA Code of Ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment

• Perform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments
• Identify and monitor patient conditions and clinical changes
• Report critical changes to physicians and charge RN
• Use SBAR and other handoff tools for safe communication
• Ensure patient safety and risk prevention measures

Care Planning

• Develop and update individualized patient care plans
• Set measurable patient care goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Initiate discharge planning from admission

Implementation

• Provide evidence-based nursing care in ICU setting
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions
• Educate patients and families
• Respond to emergencies and critical situations
• Maintain infection control and safety standards

Evaluation

• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and protocols

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in high-acuity ICU environment
• Culturally competent patient care approach
• Commitment to continuous learning

Education & Certification

• Nursing Diploma required (BSN preferred)
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact License
• AHA BLS Certification required
