Job Title: Emergency Department – Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Plainview, TX 79072
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift (3x12 Hours)
• Timing: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Block Scheduling: Available
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Total of 6 weekend shifts per schedule)

Compensation

• Local Pay: $48/hour
• Travel Pay: $2,100 per week

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to handle emergency situations, and experience taking on charge nurse responsibilities when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:4
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Step into charge nurse responsibilities as needed
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (TX)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Experience managing a 1:4 patient ratio
• Ability to take on charge nurse responsibilities
