Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Shift: Days | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer to join a leading acute care teaching hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have extensive adult echocardiography experience and be comfortable working in inpatient, emergency, and high-acuity environments while performing advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • RDCS (Adult) Certification Required

  • BLS Certification Required

  • Minimum 3 Years of Echo Experience

  • Inpatient Experience Required

  • Emergency Room Experience Required

  • Syngo Experience Required

  • Portable Echo Experience Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • RDCS Pediatric Certification

  • NICU Experience

  • Neonatal Experience

  • PICU Experience

  • Teaching Hospital Experience

  • PACS Experience

  • IV Start Experience

  • Siemens and Philips Equipment Experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive adult echocardiography studies

  • Conduct 3D Echocardiograms

  • Perform Bubble Studies

  • Administer Contrast Agents for Echocardiography

  • Perform Treadmill Stress Echocardiograms

  • Perform Pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms

  • Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)

  • Perform M-Mode and Advanced Cardiac Imaging Procedures

  • Complete portable studies throughout the facility

  • Maintain accurate documentation within Epic/Excellian systems

  • Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain patient safety and imaging quality standards

  • Float within scope of practice as needed
