💰 Pay Rate: $30–$34/hour (Depending on Experience)
⏰ Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday | Day Shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant for a 26-week outpatient assignment in Flushing, New York. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting physicians and clinical staff, proficiency with EPIC EMR, and strong patient care and administrative skills.
High School Diploma or GED
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Completion of a Formal Medical Assistant Training Program
EPIC EMR Experience
Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA)
1+ Year of Medical Assistant Experience
Outpatient or Clinic Experience
Strong Patient Care and Communication Skills
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories
Assist providers during patient visits
Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow
Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
Ensure examination rooms are stocked and prepared
Support clinical and administrative operations
Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
Patient Intake and Rooming
Vital Signs Collection
Electronic Medical Records (EPIC)
Appointment Preparation
Clinical Documentation
Patient Scheduling
Specimen Collection Support
Administrative and Front Office Support
