Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Emergency Room Manager (RN) for an exciting Local job in Kansas City, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the Emergency Department.

  • Ensure high-quality patient care and positive patient outcomes.

  • Manage department staffing, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, and retention.

  • Conduct employee evaluations, coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance management.

  • Monitor departmental budgets and financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, accreditation standards, and quality initiatives.

  • Collaborate with medical staff and hospital leadership to improve patient care processes.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.

  • Support staff education, professional development, and ongoing competency validation.

  • Maintain effective communication across departments and hospital leadership teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Missouri or active Compact RN License.

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • BLS certification upon hire.

  • ACLS certification upon hire.

  • ENPC or PALS certification upon hire.

  • TNCC or ATCN certification required within one year of hire.

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Emergency Department management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Previous leadership experience in a high-volume Emergency Department.

  • Strong knowledge of emergency services operations, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience with budgeting, staffing management, and departmental performance initiatives.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
