Pay Rate:
Local: $35 - $40/hour
Travel: $40 - $46/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Glendive, MT.
Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to improve patient strength, balance, and coordination.
Support patients with gait training, transfers, and functional mobility activities.
Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Document patient treatments and progress accurately according to facility guidelines.
Educate patients and families on exercise programs and mobility techniques.
Ensure safe handling and positioning of patients during therapy sessions.
Maintain compliance with rehabilitation protocols and facility policies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient recovery goals.
Required Qualifications
Active Montana Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License.
Minimum 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred.
Strong understanding of rehabilitation therapy principles and patient care techniques.
Ability to work independently under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing settings.
Experience working with geriatric populations.
Veteran care experience.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
