Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support a high-volume Cardiovascular Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have strong open-heart surgery experience, Level I Trauma experience, and the ability to function effectively in complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields throughout all procedures.
• Handle and manage specialized cardiovascular surgical instruments and equipment.
• Support First Assist responsibilities when required.
• Participate in advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, ECMO, VAD, valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, and other cardiovascular surgeries.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterile processing standards.
• Assist with room turnover and preparation for surgical cases.
• Float to Main OR when CVOR volume is low, based on department needs.
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Surgical Technologist experience.
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Current CST Certification through NBSTSA.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Experience with:
CABG
ECMO
VAD Management
Mitral Valve Replacement
Aortic Aneurysm Repair
ASD Repair
Cardiomyoplasty
Atherectomy
Pericardial Window Procedures
• First Assist experience preferred.
• Previous travel experience required (First-time travelers not accepted).
• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• On-Call Required:
Minimum 2 call days per week
1–2 weekends every 6-week schedule
Friday–Sunday call coverage during assigned weeks
