Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Albany, New York (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable)
Duration: 24 Months Contract

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale, multi-year, cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, stakeholder communication, and delivering complex initiatives, including public-facing application implementations and business process re-engineering efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities across large, multi-year initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, business cases, and detailed project plans.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and project communications.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular status updates.
  • Oversee public-facing application implementation projects.
  • Drive business process re-engineering initiatives to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience following industry-standard Project Management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience creating meeting agendas, minutes, and project communications for multi-year, cross-functional projects.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience developing project scopes, business cases, and project plans.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing project schedules, including milestones and resource allocation.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing public-facing application implementation projects.
  • Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience managing business process re-engineering projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects with 20+ team members.
  • Minimum 2 years (24 months) of experience working with a government agency in New York State.
