Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Travel)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule:
Night Shift
7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
36 Hours Per Week (3 Shifts/Week)
Rotating Weekends
Rotating Holidays
Pay Rate: $73 - $81/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.
Assist with labor support, delivery procedures, and postpartum care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Communicate critical patient updates to physicians and healthcare teams.
Support patient education, including childbirth and postpartum guidance.
Assume charge nurse and resource nurse responsibilities when needed.
Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
Provide exceptional patient care and service to patients and families.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Massachusetts RN License.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
Fetal Monitor certification (updated every 2 years).
Successful completion of a pharmacology exam.
Recent OB/Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years.
Strong maternal-fetal assessment skills.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
CPI certification.
