Director of Nursing (DON) / Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Portland, OR 97218
Job Type: 13-Week Contract | Local & Traveler
Schedule: Variable Days | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $2,600 - $3,100/Week (Based on Experience & Eligibility)
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations within a Long-Term Care facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality resident care.
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
Active Oregon RN License required.
Director of Nursing (DON) experience required.
BLS Certification required.
Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation leadership experience required.
BSN preferred.
EMR experience preferred.
Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
Supervise and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Lead resident assessments, care planning, and quality initiatives.
Monitor infection control, resident safety, and clinical outcomes.
Participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
