Job Title: Business Analyst Level 3

Location: Remote (New York)

Duration: 6 Months Contract


Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Level 3 to support enterprise systems, data security coordination, and business process improvement initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with technical teams, stakeholders, and application support analysts to ensure secure, efficient, and optimized system operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Security & Data Coordination:

  • Guide Application Support Analysts in executing security assignments.
  • Establish ownership and governance of security classes and ensure access is restricted to authorized users.
  • Map users to appropriate security templates and roles.
  • Develop and maintain processes for granting, modifying, and revoking system access.
  • Create and manage procedures for onboarding/offboarding users, including login credentials and security training.
  • Define and implement approval workflows for new or modified security roles.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand infrastructure security and role-based access controls.
  • Align security templates with business and clinical job functions.
  • Maintain and map key data elements related to provider records.
  • Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports.
  • Process inbound and outbound data files related to system databases.
  • Provide Level 2 support for data security-related issues across systems.
  • Assist with additional data security initiatives as needed.
  • Accurately process large volumes of user and provider data within defined timelines.

Core Business Analyst Responsibilities:

Technical:

  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
  • Track, manage, and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate requirement changes effectively to development teams.
  • Maintain understanding of application development, database design, and system architecture.

Project Execution:

  • Support project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to project standards and methodologies.
  • Manage resources in alignment with project schedules.
  • Provide regular status reports including risks, dependencies, and progress updates.
  • Handle change requests and ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.

Communication:

  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Deliver clear, structured presentations and documentation.
  • Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively and professionally.

Analysis:

  • Analyze, document, and optimize business processes and workflows.
  • Prepare detailed documentation and obtain stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Identify root causes of system issues and recommend solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or data processing.
  • Experience with enterprise systems, data management, and application support.
  • Supervisory experience required for operations-focused roles.
  • Telecommunications/networking experience required for network-related roles.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of system design, data management, and application development.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with security frameworks and access control processes is highly preferred.
