Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: New York, NY 10037
Job Type: 14-Week Contract | Local & Traveler
Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week
Pay Rate:
Local: $2,450 - $2,550/Week
Traveler: $2,900 - $3,060/Week
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Labor & Delivery experience, fetal monitoring expertise, and the ability to respond effectively to high-acuity situations.
Active New York State RN License.
NYSED License Verification required.
AHA BLS Certification.
AHA ACLS Certification.
Active NRP Certification.
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Strong fetal monitoring, assessment, and critical care skills.
Provide comprehensive nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
Monitor and interpret Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM).
Administer medications and conscious sedation as required.
Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and patient assessments.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Respond to maternal and neonatal emergencies.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
