Outpatient Clinical Setting

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers in a busy outpatient clinical setting. The Medical Assistant will perform both clinical and administrative duties, assist with patient care, perform venipuncture, maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR, and help ensure smooth daily clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures.
• Update and maintain patient records in Epic EMR.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
• Verify patient information and assist with documentation.
• Support administrative and front-office functions as needed.
• Float to other clinic locations when required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP Accredited Program.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC only).
• Venipuncture experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
