Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support Technology Business Management (TBM) and IT financial transparency initiatives across a large enterprise technology environment. This role will focus on improving cost transparency, enhancing financial accountability, and providing meaningful insights into technology spending, cost drivers, and business value.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT financial management, cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Technology, and Business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Technology Business Management (TBM) financial transparency initiatives
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models and reporting frameworks
  • Manage IT cost allocation methodologies and expense transparency processes
  • Analyze technology spending across infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, and other technology service areas
  • Partner with service owners and stakeholders to validate financial assumptions and cost structures
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Produce and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and spend analyses
  • Evaluate and improve cost modeling methodologies and allocation logic
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data, mappings, and reporting structures
  • Translate complex financial information into actionable business insights
  • Support continuous improvement of financial governance and reporting practices

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Technology Business Management (TBM), IT Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or cost transparency initiatives
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Cost Allocation Methodologies
    • Procurement Processes
    • Contract Management
    • Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • Financial Modeling
    • Complex Formulas
    • Pivot Tables
    • Scenario Analysis
    • Data Analysis and Automation
  • Experience working with large and complex financial datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Technology Business Management frameworks and cost transparency practices
  • Familiarity with:
    • Power BI
    • Cost Modeling Methodologies
    • Financial Dashboards and Reporting Tools
  • Experience with:
    • ServiceNow (ITFM, CMDB, Asset Management, Service Taxonomy)
    • PeopleSoft Financials or similar ERP platforms
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise technology organizations
