Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Compensation:

$2,000 - $2,500 weekly Local candidate

$3,000 - $3,300 weekly Traveller candidate

Schedule

  • Day Shift
  • 3x12 Schedule
  • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Requirements

  • Active New York State RN License required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
  • Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience

Required Certifications

  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry monitoring skills, cardiac care experience, and the ability to respond effectively to changes in patient conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
  • Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and vascular access management
  • Assist with conscious sedation procedures and patient monitoring
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions and cardiac status
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards
