Job Title: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation

Pay Rate: $2,000 – $2,550 Weekly (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, and delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients regarding imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout examinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within the electronic medical record system.
• Follow radiation safety practices, infection prevention protocols, and departmental policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
• Assist with equipment quality control and report maintenance concerns as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active California Radiologic Technologist License.
• Fluoroscopy Permit.
• ARRT (R) Certification.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Minimum one (1) year of X-Ray Technologist experience.
• Pending licenses will not be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or acute care imaging environments.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR systems.
• Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract assignment with potential for extension.
• Day shift schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
