Job Title: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Eureka, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation

Pay Rate: $2,000 – $2,550 Weekly (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining the examination process.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using electronic medical record systems.
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations, infection prevention protocols, and departmental policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
• Ensure imaging equipment is maintained and functioning properly, reporting issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active California Radiologic Technologist License.
• Fluoroscopy Permit.
• ARRT (R) Certification.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Minimum one (1) year of X-Ray Technologist experience.
• Pending licenses will not be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acute care or hospital-based imaging environments.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR systems.
• Strong communication, patient care, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract with possibility of extension.
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
