Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Gastonia, NC
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $62 - $68/hour
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 Hours Per Week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a CT Technologist for an exciting Local job in Gastonia, NC.
Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Administer IV contrast and monitor patients during procedures as appropriate.
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures as needed.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Deliver exceptional customer service using AIDET communication principles.
Participate in on-call coverage and float assignments as required.
Required Qualifications
Active ARRT Certification with CT Credential – R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT).
Previous CT Technologist experience required.
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
Excellent patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Flexibility to float between facilities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
IV competency and contrast administration experience.
Experience with Siemens Force CT Scanner.
Experience with GE HD 750 CT Scanner.
Experience in special imaging techniques.
Knowledge of imaging equipment operation and troubleshooting.
Experience working in acute care or hospital-based imaging departments.
Additional Requirements
On-call approximately 2 times per month.
Floating required between Gastonia and Belmont locations as needed.
