Job Title: RN - Med/Surg Telemetry
Location: Bronx, NY

Pay Rate:
Local: $2,450 - $2,550/week
Travel: $2,900 - $3,060/week
Shift & Schedule: 3 Days Per Week | 12-Hour Shifts | Full-Time | 36 Hours Per Week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a RN - Med/Surg Telemetry for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the Telemetry and Medical-Surgical unit.
Monitor, interpret, and report cardiac rhythms and telemetry changes.
Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with facility policies and standards.
Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, medication administration, and wound care.
Conduct ongoing patient assessments and identify changes requiring intervention.
Coordinate patient care with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.
Support patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Active New York State Registered Nurse License.
AHA BLS Certification.
AHA ACLS Certification.
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience.
Strong telemetry interpretation and clinical assessment skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a high-acuity acute care hospital setting.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR).
Strong cardiac monitoring and patient management skills.
