Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Santa Monica, California
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12s

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor, delivery, and obstetrical procedures.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Provide postpartum education and support to patients and families.
Collaborate with OB physicians, neonatal teams, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare staff.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Ensure a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Current BLS Certification.
Current ACLS Certification.
Current NRP Certification.
Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Fetal Monitoring experience.
Experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.
