Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN)

Location - Mission Hills

Duration - 13 weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a Magnet-designated Acute Care Hospital. Candidates must have prior Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience and be comfortable participating in an active call rotation supporting emergent and scheduled cardiac procedures.

Required Certifications:

• ACLS

Required Experience:

• Previous Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Experience
• Cardiac Procedure Patient Care
• Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Emergency Cardiac Response
• Moderate Sedation Monitoring

On-Call Requirements:

• Approximately 5–6 Call Shifts Every 2 Weeks
• Every Other Weekend Call Rotation
  • Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
• One Additional Weekday Call Shift
• 30-Minute Response Time Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac interventions
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams
