Job Title: Registered Cardiac Sonographer

Location:

• Primary: Rockwall, TX
• Secondary (Float): Dallas, TX

Contract Length: 15 Weeks

Schedule:

• 40 Hours per Week
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Cardiac Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic cardiac and vascular imaging services in an outpatient clinic setting. This role will primarily support the Rockwall location, with periodic coverage required at the Dallas clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Conduct stress echocardiography procedures
• Assist with vascular ultrasound studies as needed
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide education regarding exams
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to support optimal patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient/clinic experience within the last 3 years
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound imaging techniques
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Preferred Experience:

• Echocardiograms
• Stress Echocardiography
• Vascular studies, including:
  • Carotid Ultrasounds
  • Lower Extremity Arterial Studies
  • Lower Extremity Venous Studies
  • Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI)
  • Abdominal Aorta (ABD AO) studies

Work Locations:

Primary Site:

• Rockwall, TX

Secondary Site (Float Coverage):

• Dallas, TX

Float Requirement:

• Candidates must be willing to support both clinic locations
• Primary assignment will be in Rockwall with occasional coverage in Dallas
