Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a busy Women's Services department at a beachside acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring, labor and delivery care, and postpartum patients.

Assignment Details:

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
First-time travelers not accepted
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
Floating to Postpartum may be required based on staffing needs
Block scheduling available at manager discretion
Guaranteed hours provided; facility may call off one shift per two-week pay period

Required Certifications:

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NRP
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)

Clinical Experience Required:

Fetal Heart Monitoring
High-Risk Pregnancy Monitoring
Vaginal Deliveries
Cesarean Sections
Labor and Delivery Nursing Care
