Title: Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (OR Tech)

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Duration: Contract Assignment 

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to assist in operating room procedures across multiple surgical specialties. This role requires strong OR experience, adaptability, and the ability to support a high-volume acute care surgical unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures

  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments

  • Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment

  • Support pre-op, intra-op, and post-op workflows

  • Maintain strict aseptic and infection control techniques

  • Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures

  • Assist with setup and turnover of operating rooms

  • Float to different surgical cases as required

  • Participate in call coverage per unit schedule

  • Ensure accurate tracking of surgical instruments and supplies

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years OR Tech experience (5 years preferred)

  • Experience in acute care surgical settings required

  • CA state license preferred (pending accepted)

  • First-time travelers not accepted

  • Ability to participate in call schedule required

  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
