Title: Dental Hygienist

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Schedule: Monday – Friday

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• No weekends
• 39 hours per week

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care, patient education, radiographic services, and support dental treatment planning in a clinical setting. This role involves working closely with patients, dental providers, and students while maintaining high standards of patient care and documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental prophylaxis and teeth cleaning
• Remove hard and soft deposits and stains from teeth
• Apply topical fluoride treatments
• Expose and develop dental radiographs
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and patient counseling
• Offer nutrition and dietary education
• Review patient medical and dental histories
• Take and record blood pressure
• Chart dental conditions and disease findings
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Utilize Epic Wisdom for charting and charge entry
• Assist in training dental hygiene students as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist License
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Knowledge of dental radiography and preventive care practices
