Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Stepdown

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Stepdown to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced neuro stepdown environment. The ideal candidate will have strong neuro and progressive care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neuro stepdown patients
Perform patient assessments and monitor neurological status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery
Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

Minimum 18 months of Neuro Stepdown experience
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred
Current Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License
BLS Certification (AHA)
ACLS Certification
NIHSS Certification
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to successfully complete rhythm recognition and medication assessments during orientation

Schedule Requirements

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Every other holiday required
