Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Vascular Operating Room
Location: Rochester, NY
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
On-Call Requirements:
One weekday call shift per week
Weekend call Friday through Sunday once per month
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Vascular OR Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized perioperative care for vascular and endovascular procedures. The RN will work closely with surgeons and procedural teams while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care for vascular and endovascular procedures
Independently support endovascular cases without Cath Lab team assistance
Perform patient assessments before, during, and after procedures
Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
Maintain sterile technique and adherence to surgical safety standards
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
Assist with procedural setup, equipment preparation, and patient positioning
Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols
Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications:
Active New York State RN License
BLS Certification
NIHSS Certification
Vascular procedure experience required
EPIC experience required
Ability to independently perform endovascular cases
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
2–3 years of Vascular OR experience
Previous endovascular procedure experience
Travel nursing experience preferred but not required

1:1 Patient Ratio
Fast-paced surgical setting requiring advanced vascular procedural knowledge
