Job Title: Organizational Change Management (OCM) Program/Project
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Type: Contract

Position Overview:
This role supports the BEST Program by aligning four key workstreams—Training, Communications, Readiness, and Support—to ensure a smooth launch. It focuses on coordinating teams, identifying gaps, and ensuring operational readiness for the upcoming project phase.

Responsibilities

  • Assess progress across Training, Communications, Readiness, and Support workstreams to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Identify adoption risks, performance gaps, and readiness challenges, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with agency leaders and key stakeholders to ensure engagement and project readiness
  • Oversee development and completion of readiness assessments and support model planning
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including state and vendor resources
  • Ensure workstream deliverables remain aligned with PMO milestones and project timelines
  • Provide regular status updates, progress reports, and executive-level communications
  • Maintain project documentation and support continuity across program phases
  • Drive organizational readiness and change adoption initiatives
  • Balance day-to-day issue resolution with long-term strategic planning and execution

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives in complex project environments
  • Strong knowledge of OCM methodologies, readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams including Training, Communications, Readiness, and Support
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and build relationships with large, diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience identifying risks, gaps, and implementing corrective actions
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale government, public sector, or enterprise transformation programs
  • Experience working with PMOs and complex multi-vendor environments
  • Familiarity with organizational readiness and post-implementation support models
  • Experience leading change management efforts for technology or business transformation initiatives
