Weekend Requirement: Rotating Weekends
Hours: Full-Time (36–40 Hours Weekly)

Compensation:

• Annual Salary: $62,233 – $81,556.80 based on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced freestanding emergency care environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, ranging from minor illnesses and injuries to acute and critical conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent multitasking abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity levels
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients
• Provide care to patients presenting with a wide variety of medical, surgical, and trauma-related conditions
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Develop individualized patient care plans and establish expected outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Coordinate patient transfers, referrals, and additional services as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and emergency care standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a high-volume emergency setting

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing required

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active Florida RN License, Multistate Compact License, or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure prior to start date
• Current BLS Certification required prior to employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification required within 90 days of hire
• ACLS Certification or ACLS Instructor Certification required within 90 days of hire
• PALS Certification or PALS Instructor Certification required within 90 days of hire

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care Emergency Department RN experience required
• Critical Care experience may be considered in lieu of Emergency Department experience
