Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Rutland, VT
Duration: 14-Week Contract with Possible Extension
Schedule: Evening Shift – 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Additional Requirement: Every Weekend Commitment
Break: 30-Minute Unpaid Break Included

Compensation:

  • Local Pay: $1,160/week
  • Traveler Pay: $1,926/week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will support physicians and Registered Nurses in delivering patient-centered care while assisting with clinical procedures, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and Registered Nurses
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical observations
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Assist with patient assessments, examinations, and routine clinical procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation
  • Support patient comfort, safety, and overall well-being
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and healthcare compliance protocols
  • Deliver compassionate and professional patient-centered care
  • Respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions and communicate updates to clinical staff

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active Vermont LPN License or Multistate Compact LPN License required
  • Current AHA BLS Certification required

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience required
