Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to support large-scale data engineering and AI adoption initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This role will work closely with technical project managers, data engineering teams, business stakeholders, and AI program leadership to coordinate project activities, manage deliverables, and ensure successful execution of strategic technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience leading enterprise data, analytics, cloud, and business intelligence projects, along with exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex technical projects and programs
• Gather business and technical requirements and develop project documentation
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and success metrics
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, analytics, business, and AI stakeholders
• Track project deliverables, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution activities
• Support cloud platform, data engineering, and AI/ML adoption initiatives
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial reporting activities
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
• Support system implementation and enterprise technology initiatives
• Maintain project plans, schedules, charters, documentation, and lessons learned
• Ensure alignment with organizational standards, governance, and delivery expectations

Required Qualifications

• PMP Certification required (must be listed on resume)
• 10+ years of experience leading technical projects or enterprise programs in:
  • Data engineering
  • Analytics
  • Cloud environments
• 10+ years of experience managing:
  • Data architecture initiatives
  • Data modeling projects
  • Data warehousing implementations
• Strong experience delivering business intelligence, analytics, and big data projects
• Experience supporting healthcare data initiatives; familiarity with:
  • FHIR
  • CCDA
  • HL7
• Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to executive and business audiences
• Proven leadership experience managing:
  • Cross-functional teams
  • Vendors
  • Enterprise project timelines
• Experience with:
  • Project budgeting
  • Resource planning
  • Forecasting
  • Financial status reporting
• Proficiency with project management tools such as:
  • Jira
  • Azure DevOps
  • MS Project
  • Smartsheet
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and data systems
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail

• Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments
