Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect / Consultant to lead large-scale data migration and storage transformation initiatives. This is a customer-facing, strategic role requiring deep expertise across storage technologies and the ability to design, position, and deliver complex solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned architect with a strong blend of presales and delivery experience, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders, driving multimillion-dollar projects, and providing consultative guidance on enterprise data migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy

• Design and architect end-to-end data migration solutions across block, file, and object storage environments
• Lead storage transformation initiatives from legacy systems to modern platforms
• Define migration strategies, risk assessments, and mitigation plans
• Provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent enterprise projects

Customer Engagement & Consulting

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, engaging directly in face-to-face interactions
• Present migration strategies, technical roadmaps, and solution architectures to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives
• Understand customer pain points and align solutions to business outcomes
• Support both presales and delivery phases with consultative expertise

Project Leadership

• Lead and oversee large-scale, high-value transformation programs
• Work across multiple engagements simultaneously, balancing presales and execution responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery

Thought Leadership & Enablement

• Present at industry or customer-facing technical forums and conferences
• Mentor and coach internal teams, architects, and engineers
• Drive best practices in storage architecture, migration methodologies, and solution design

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in storage technologies and data migration
• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Solution/Enterprise Architect
• Proven expertise in storage migration across block, file, and object storage
• Strong background working with storage vendors (any major platform)
• Experience in both presales and delivery roles
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects
• Strong customer-facing experience, including in-person consulting engagements

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Broad knowledge across:
  • Storage systems and data migration strategies
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Unix/Linux environments
  • Enterprise applications
  • Cloud platforms and integrations
  • Automation and scripting concepts
• Ability to design holistic solutions across infrastructure and application layers
