Obstetric Surgical Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Obstetric Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy acute care hospital setting. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for candidates with Labor & Delivery and OB surgical experience.

• Shift: Day Shift – 2x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Schedule: 24 Hours Per Week
• Duration: 13 Weeks

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during obstetric surgical procedures
• Support Labor & Delivery surgical teams during OB cases
• Assist with patient scheduling and OB admissions
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile technique standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff during procedures
• Support department workflow and patient care operations

Required Qualifications

• OB Surgical Tech experience required
• Ability to scrub OB surgical cases independently
• Strong understanding of sterile processing and surgical procedures
• Experience in Labor & Delivery or Women’s Services preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred

Required Certifications

• NBSTSA Certification required
• BLS Certification preferred
