Job Title: Histology Technician – Surgical Pathology
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract | 27 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $45–$54/hr

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Histology Technician – Surgical Pathology for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform histology laboratory procedures and specimen preparation
• Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens accurately
• Maintain laboratory quality standards and compliance protocols
• Operate histology laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure accurate documentation and specimen tracking
• Work independently while meeting turnaround time expectations
• Collaborate effectively with pathology and laboratory teams

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program OR Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License OR Certified Histology Technician OR Clinical Lab Technician certification from NYS Education Department
• Excellent technical laboratory skills
