Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Location: San Jose, CA
Type: Contract | 8 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Day Shift (Monday – Friday)
Position Overview:
Medefis is seeking Physical Therapy Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities
• Assist Physical Therapists with implementing patient treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions as directed
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapists
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
• Educate patients on therapy exercises and rehabilitation techniques
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team members to support positive patient outcomes
Requirements
• Active California Physical Therapy Assistant License required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Strong communication and patient care skills required
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented clinical environment
