Job Title: RN – PCU

Pay Rate: Up to $2920/week (Based on Experience)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 4x12 Hours | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend Required
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – PCU for an exciting Travel or Local job in Potsdam, NY.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to PCU, MS Telemetry, and Medical Surgical patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Manage patients with post-MI care, renal failure, CVA, seizure disorders, trauma, and surgical recovery
• Administer blood products, IV insulin, heparin protocols, PCA, thrombolytics, and cardiac drips
• Perform central line, PICC line, peripheral IV, feeding tube, and wound vac care
• Manage CPAP/BIPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy, and oxygen therapy patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care and outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and Pyxis systems
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/IMC experience required
• PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Active RN License required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmias, cardiac drips, post-MI care, and stepdown nursing required
• PALS and TCAR preferre
