Location: Elkins, West Virginia

Schedule:

• Night Shift
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 12-Hour Shifts
• 36 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
• 30-Minute Meal Break

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel contract opportunity in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting in Elkins, WV. This role requires a compassionate and dependable nurse capable of delivering high-quality patient care during overnight shifts.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in fast-paced long-term care environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in long-term care and rehabilitation settings
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
• Support resident safety, comfort, and infection prevention standards
• Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations during overnight shifts
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Active LPN License required
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong medication administration and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
