Schedule:

• Day Shift
• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 12-Hour Shifts
• 36 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
• 30-Minute Meal Break

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Travel CNA for a contract assignment in Elkins, WV. This position supports resident care within a long-term care and rehabilitation environment, assisting nursing staff with daily patient care activities while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.

The ideal candidate will have strong patient care skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in fast-paced healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming
• Support patient mobility, repositioning, transfers, and ambulation
• Obtain and document vital signs accurately
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient care environments
• Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights
• Assist with infection prevention and safety procedures
• Document care activities according to facility guidelines
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary care teams

Requirements

• Active CNA certification required
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to assist with lifting, repositioning, and mobility support tasks
