Pay Rate: $80–$87/hr (Based on experience)

Shift: Day Shift | Hours: 11.5 Hours/Day | Days/Week: 3 Days | Weekly Hours: 34.5

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Provide direct bedside nursing care to pediatric pre-operative and post-operative patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Perform dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report adverse reactions or condition changes promptly.
• Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment as needed.
• Interpret and document clinical assessments and patient measurements.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, medications, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate patient charts, medical records, and EMR documentation.
• Adhere to infection control procedures, nursing standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Support a patient-centered and family-focused care environment.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution.
• Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification.
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Rehab experience in a large acute care hospital setting.
• Most recent clinical experience must be within the past year.
