Schedule

• Day Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• 5x8-Hour Shifts
• 40 Hours per Week
• Weekend coverage required
  • 10-hour shifts: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Consecutive weekends required

Compensation

• Travel Weekly Pay: $1,275 – $1,387/week ($34–$37/hr)
• Local Weekly Pay: $862 – $937/week ($23–$25/hr)
  Compensation based on experience.

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Seaside, Oregon is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a contract assignment. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in medication preparation, IV admixing, inventory management, and patient care support within an inpatient hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Perform IV admixing for non-hazardous medications
• Maintain accurate medication and inventory records
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies
• Assist with medication delivery and storage procedures
• Support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician registration in the State of Oregon required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacy technician experience required
• IV admixing experience with non-hazardous medications required
• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) certification required

Additional Information

• No on-call requirement
• No floating between units
• 48-hour schedules are not approved
