RN / LPN – Long Term Care (LTC) Travel Assignment

Location: Milbank, South Dakota

Shift Details

• Shift Type: Day Shift
• Schedule: Mostly 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Shift Length: 12-Hour Shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Weekly
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a short-term Long Term Care assignment in Milbank, South Dakota. The selected candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment while supporting daily clinical operations and ensuring resident safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have previous LTC or nursing home experience and be comfortable working rotating weekends and extended day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to individualized resident care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures safely and accurately
• Monitor resident conditions and report any status changes promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and charting
• Assist residents with daily living activities and supportive care needs
• Collaborate with CNAs, therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and facility safety standards
• Respond effectively to emergencies and resident care concerns
• Participate in shift reporting and care coordination activities
• Promote a compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license required
• Previous Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
• Ability to work day shifts and rotating weekends
• Strong medication administration and patient assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced care environment
