Radiology Technologist – Travel Assignment

Location: Hopedale, Illinois
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging department. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and Surgical imaging while ensuring patient safety, imaging quality, and excellent patient care.

This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and Surgical imaging
• Review patient requisitions and verify examination accuracy and demographic information
• Ensure patient safety through proper use of support and restraint devices when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within hospital computer systems
• Review completed examinations for technical accuracy and communicate findings appropriately
• Ensure proper anatomical orientation and image identification on all studies
• Perform computer operations for exam documentation and charge entry
• Prioritize patient care based on urgency and physician orders
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff members
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital confidentiality standards
• Support department and office-related duties as needed
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and department standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited/approved School of Radiology
• ARRT (R) Certification required
• Active Illinois Radiology License required
• Current BLS/BCLS Certification required
• Strong patient care and communication skills required

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/AED Certification
• CT Certification
• Previous hospital-based radiology experience preferred
