Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join a busy diagnostic imaging team in New York, NY. This part-time weekend opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking a consistent schedule while delivering exceptional patient care and imaging support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with department protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment effectively and safely
• Capture and upload high-quality diagnostic images to PACS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate imaging support
• Assist with department workflow, scheduling, and supply management
• Support orientation and training of new imaging staff as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required
• ARDMS certification required
• Valid RDMS and BLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging equipment and PACS systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills

Education Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
  OR
• High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program
