Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) team providing specialized care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization and advanced treatment services. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, monitor patient progress, administer treatments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.

This role is ideal for nurses with strong clinical judgment, critical thinking abilities, and experience in acute or high-acuity care environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an LTAC setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
• Care for patients with complex medical and chronic conditions
• Monitor patients requiring respiratory support, telemetry, wound care, and specialized treatments
• Assist with tracheostomy and ventilator patient care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and healthcare teams
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and compliance guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous LTAC, ICU, Med/Surg, Step-Down, or Acute Care experience preferred
• Experience with:
  • Ventilator patients
  • Telemetry monitoring
  • Wound care
  • Tracheostomy care
  • IV therapy
• ACLS Certification preferred
