Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Location: Canton, GA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36–40 Hours/Week
Shift: Day or Night Shift Available

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $2,300 – $2,500/week (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a high-volume surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing skills and experience supporting surgical teams during a variety of operative procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide circulating and/or scrub support during surgical procedures
• Assist surgical teams in maintaining efficient operating room workflow
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile field maintenance
• Monitor patient safety throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to deliver quality patient care
• Document perioperative care accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and surgical preparation
• Support post-operative patient transition and recovery coordination
• Maintain compliance with infection control and surgical safety protocols

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Prior Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification required
• Strong perioperative and surgical nursing skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities

Additional Information:

• Schedule may include 4x10-hour night shifts with approximate start time around 8:30 PM
• No on-call requirement
• Travelers only – local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Assignment based in a high-volume surgical setting
